Childen are particularly curious when they travel

Why planes are white? Do pilots use a key to start the engines? Before takeoff, every little traveler is full of questions, so to give parents a hand, we developed the Questions à Réactions website. Through a fun and immersive gameplay, the children access answers from the entire Air France staff. Pilots, ground staff, flight attendants and stewards contributed to make this WebGL experience the best possible one.

GAMING

A enlightening video game

How does a child learn best? By playing of course. To do so, our team conceived a fun game through a WebGL experience. Riding a plane in a sky painted with pastel colors, the child had to reach little clouds. When he got there, a video from an Air France staff member revealed the answer to his question. Fun, simple and intuitive.

CORPORATE

The Air France Staff fueled the experience

Each profession of the French biggest airline played along the FAQ, providing the simplest and clearest answers for the children. Company CEO Ben Smith also took the time for Lukas, 6 years old, to explain« why doesn’t the plane flap its wings to fly? ».

TECHNOLOGY

Offline mode at the airport

Connecting our operation to its hub, we designed a real cockpit that was set up in the airports. A more meaningful way to immerse children before takeoff and really see themselves in the pilot's seat. In doing so, they could board the plane better prepared than ever before.

TECHNICALLY

An experience structured around three technical blocks

A headless CMS, Prismic, queried by the front via a REST API, a Vue.js / three.js interface, with a large WebGL scene, and an offline Raspberry Pi, acting as a Wifi hostspot that allows connection to the experience from airport tablets.
